Israeli designer Lia Kes’ interest in fashion started when she was just a child. Growing up in Kibbutz Afikim, Kes was tired of wearing the same uniform as her childhood peers. At the age of six, Kes told her mother she wanted to be unique and by the age of twelve Kes harnessed her creativity and started sewing her own wardrobe. Creating beautiful clothing through adolescence, Lia Kes enrolled in the prestigious Shenkar College in Tel Aviv, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design.
