The newly established Verboten party hosted a special night with Dubfire, who is one half of the infamous duo Deep Dish and Sci + Tec label boss. Opening up the night was New York City’s favorite DJ couple Sleepy & Boo. Situated in the the underground Love nightclub was this amazing gathering of Techno enthusiasts from the New York City tri-state area. Dubfire played some of Gradient Magazine’s favorite tracks such as his remix of Paul Ritch’s Split The Line and Loco Dice’s latest production Definition. Stay tuned for future Verboten events which will take place every Saturday at Love.

Over the next 2 weeks German legend Timo Maas is making a rare Eastern swing to North and South America, stopping in Manhattan on Saturday November 28. Dance.Here.Too., brought to you by the folks who brought you Dance.Here.Now. (Thursdays @ Cielo) will now be providing quality electronic dance music each and every saturday night from here on out. Located at 100 Lafayette St, the 8000 square foot Santos Party House has slowly built a reputation for being one of the city’s most dance-friendly venues with a custom sound system that could literally push you out the door.

Our new friends Sleepy & Boo from Basic NYC invited us to a special event featuring Techno music legend Jeff Mills at Sullivan Room. Mills is absolutely one of the best DJ’s when it comes to mixing, and this was very prevalent throughout his set. The East Village venue was packed from front to back with people anticipating the arrival of The Wizard Jeff Mills. He played some obscure minimal tracks and really kept everyone in tune with his great track listing.
