New pictures of the Onyx Blackberry 9700 have surfaced on the web. It will be T-Mobile’s first 3G Blackberry and is speculated to launch on November 11th. The touch-based track pad is a visible new feature, and the rumored specs include Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, UMTS/HSDPA, 480×360 resolution screen, OS 5.0, QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 megapixel AF camera, and Bluetooth technology.

T-mobile is about to place a new Blackberry on their roster of phones. The official press release and images for the Blackberry Bold 9700 were made public today. “The BlackBerry ‘Onyx’ sports a premium experience and design with a high-gloss black finish and leather grain detail on the back. Boasting features such as high-speed 3G Web browsing, Wi-Fi calling, visual voicemail and support for corporate and personal e-mail options, the ‘Onyx’ will satisfy all your on-the-go needs. Also the phone comes preloaded with mobile applications from BlackBerry App World, including Amazon MP3 store for quick and easy music downloads and TeleNav GPS Navigator for turn-by-turn directions.” This phone is scheduled to make it’s official appearance at some point in 2009, stay tuned for official release information.

The latest Blackberry smart phone in RIM’s pipeline made its way onto the internet, with this new photo taken in a Blackberry factory. It appears that the phone, codenamed “Onyx,” carries an alternative option to the infamous Blackberry trackball, with an optical trackpad. The phone has many similarities to its cousins, the Bold and Tour, which are scheduled to release with Verizon and Sprint on July 12th. Stay tuned for more updates on the release of this phone.
