Takao Akiyama keeps it simple with his design for this house in Meiwamach. Clean lines, rectangular forms and ceiling-to-floor glass windows give the home a pure and minimal feel. The garage extends out in a simple continuous motion around the square garden adjacent to the house. The white forms that structure the design starkly contrast with the closely surrounding homes in the neighborhood. Definitely a breath of fresh air.
