German artist Heike Weber has recently exhibited his newest work entitled Kilim, Utopia and Bim. Kilim is Weber’s rendetion of a carpet, using black silicone, Webster created a carpet that at first sight strikes as very authentic and apart of the natural environment. His following work Utopia, was created by Weber using permanent marker on lacquer and vinyl floor. The wavy patterns exhibit Weber’s excellent precision and ability to fashion a blank canvas with a simple black marker. Bim, was one of Weber’s simplest exhibitions, using carpet to create circles, expresses his thought process evolving. More images follow the post.
