Visvim FBT shoes are sought out because of their unique twist on classic sneakers. The company explains they treat every sneaker as a separate entity and each model is perfect for an upscale lifestyle. These Lhamo-Folk sneakers seem to be no different because they are made with only the finest materials- UK suede cowhide upper, natural cork footbed, handsewn upper, bead detailing, and a moccasin footwrap construction. Moccasins made a comeback a few years ago but we have to say this version is a whole new and awesome take on the classic moccasin shoes. The shoes are one of the most popular yet and customers have been waiting for them to make their come back this season for spring/summer 2010. They are available in black, brown, tan, and a deep burgundy all of which compliment the shoe’s style perfectly.

Uniforms for the Dedicated combines fashion, film and music all in one and yet still does all three oddly well. The clothing line for fall/winter 2010 coming out is unique in how it draws from the “working class hero” from the post war era. Each and every single piece can be tied to a working class person from the post war era, including the the very obvious yet stylish railroad worker. The uniforms drawn from this era seamlessly translate into modern, high-fashion clothing. There is interpretation of the uniforms but none of the looks stray too far from the original pieces from the post war era. Uniforms for the Dedicated seems to be well aware that fashion is recycled with a different twist to fit the current generation. They show pieces any man (working class or not) would want to wear and if you were not told, you might not even realize you are wearing a very similar version of a uniform of a railroad worker or paper boy because each look fits so well in to modern times.

When Alexander McQueen committed suicide in February of 2010 the fashion industry lost one of the most talented designers in the world. Luckily the Alexander McQueen fashion label’s Creative Director is honoring the designer by continuing to show and design beautiful clothing as can be seen in these pictures of the Cruise 2011 collection. The collection flawlessly emulates the classic mood of Alexander McQueen’s previous collections.

The Cruise 2011 collection is a combination of classic, structured lines and understated patterns on fabrics that range from metallic to chiffon to what looks like a heavy velvet that come together to create impeccable style. To say the Creative Director of the Alexander McQueen fashion label had big shoes to fill would be an understatement, but as far as we can tell he is doing an amazing job.

The second part of Opening Ceremony’s Fall/Winter 2010 Collection has been revealed. The first set, Delivery 1, was imagined as the look of a young Frenchman. Delivery 2 is its counterpart – the young Englishman. In contrast to the softer suits of Delivery 1, Delivery 2 has more tailoring with tweed hunting inspired apparel, waxed jackets and British military-like flare, along with glam rock colors and subtle punk and mod touches. Among the collection is parkas, slim jackets, sweaters, fitted jeans and trousers in a variety of materials like camel cashmere, waxed twill, high dimension corduroy, military-grade wool, Fair Isle Knits and other “Anglo-centric” fabrics. For a full look at Delivery 2, as well as Delivery 1, click here.

bulletballet

If Rambo had a passion for fine footwear he might have come up with these bullet ballerina flats from Italian shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti and French boutique Colette. The bullet belt has already been around for awhile but these slip-ons are a great spin-off, keeping it simple with only two holstered bullets on each shoe. The reason for the $448 price tag? The bullets are blinged out with Swarovski crystals. They are available now at Colette.
