Sci Tec label boss Dubfire made special appearance at Pacha NYC on the weekend of February 6th. Dubfire’s appearance in NYC is always highly anticipated, his track listing is always diverse full of tracks that introduced us to techno and new music that we will be hearing in the upcoming months. Dubfire played his classic track Grindhouse and a remix of Joey Beltram’s Energy Flash. For those of you that missed Dubfire in NYC can catch him this year at Miami’s WMC festival.

The newly established Verboten party hosted a special night with Dubfire, who is one half of the infamous duo Deep Dish and Sci + Tec label boss. Opening up the night was New York City’s favorite DJ couple Sleepy & Boo. Situated in the the underground Love nightclub was this amazing gathering of Techno enthusiasts from the New York City tri-state area. Dubfire played some of Gradient Magazine’s favorite tracks such as his remix of Paul Ritch’s Split The Line and Loco Dice’s latest production Definition. Stay tuned for future Verboten events which will take place every Saturday at Love.

Chris Liebing has dedicated much of his time recently exposing the public to some of his favorite artists, his latest attempt was recording Dubfire’s set from “Be At Space”. on August 27th, 2009, Liebing was joined by Guy Gerber, Umek and Dubfire. During that night Dubfire’s set was recorded. This amazing compilation of music will put you on pace with the best music currently coming out of Europe. One of Gradient’s favorite producers Dubfire has announced the release of his latest single entitled “Rabid.” Officially releasing tomorrow, September 9th on Beatport and October 10th on Itunes, the single is expected to be a huge hit amongst Techno DJ’s. We have not seen a big release from Dubfire in some time, this track will be played all over the world once it is officially available. The “Dubfire + Hawtin Click to Click” is the upcoming Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1. The session was recorded live on July 10th at Exit Festival where Dubfire and Richie Hawtin played back-to-back sets. The mix premieres on July 18th 0300 BST on BBC Radio 1, but is also available to listen to at BBC Radio from July 18th until the 25th. You can check out pictures from the event here.
