Last week our good friends over at Blkmarket Membership had a little affair in downtown’s club cave Love. The special night was kicked off by Blkmarket residents Taimuar & Fahad. As usual the duo touched the crowed. The collaboration between Dandy Jack & Sonja Moonear was absolutely amazing. Love’s amazing sound system had trouble supporting the bass thumping tracks these two were playing. Check out the images after the post.

It’s time for another secret location party from BLKmarket Membership with residents Taimur & Fahad. The Freakshow Costume Party will take place Saturday, February 27th at 10 pm until early the next morning. Headlining is Berlin based Konrad Black, who has been producing music and DJing for over ten years. His sound is fueled by dirty bass, evolving from his roots in drum’n’bass and hip hop. Blkmarket Membership is taking a break from their secret location parties to promote their Rebel Rave Tour 2010. Unlike their warehouse parties, this event will take place at Pacha NYC and will feature Gradient favorite Damian Lazarus, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler and Deniz Kurtel along with BlkMarket Membership’s own Taimur + Fahad. There are plenty of New Years Eve options in New York City, but Gradient’s pick is BLKmarket Membership’s secret location party featuring a 5-hour set from DJ Koze. This will be the German producer’s US debut, and he will be accompanied by Markus Fix, Ryan Crosson and Shaun Reeves, along with a surprise special guest. Not only was DJ Koze ranked number 16 on Resident Advisor’s top 100 DJs, but the BLKmarket Membership New Years Bash was picked as the best NYE party in NYC by Ibiza-Voice. Tickets are now on sale and prices will rise the closer it gets to December 31st, so be sure to pick them up ASAP from either Bar 13 or Hacyon the Shop in Brooklyn. Last week, Blkmarket Membership teamed up with Cielo night club for a very special night with Crosstown Rebels’ own, Damian Lazarus. Lazarus never falls short when it comes to impressing the crowd. The venue was packed with techno patrons engulfed by the bass soaking through their eardrums. Lazarus played a Gradient favorite, a remix of Hugo’s The Sloop. Playing a wide range of sounds, from Tech House to Minimal, Lazarus was absolutely on point! Adding to this special night were Blkmarket residents Taimur & Fahad, who are hands down the best DJs in NYC right now. Check out the rest of the post for pictures from the event.

If by ‘the wee hours of morning’ we really mean ‘the next afternoon’ then yes, it lasted into the wee hours of morning. Blkmrkt’s latest event, one of many on a growing list of instant classics was nothing short of brilliant. Headlining the night was Sasha, former Twilo (NYC) resident and one half of legendary duo Sasha and Digweed. The venue, lighting, sound and overall vibe truly represented what an electronic dance music event should be.

BLKmarket Membership will be hosting a party tomorrow night with electronic dance icon Sasha tomorrow night in Brooklyn. The “secret location” has been revealed as 120 Ingraham Street and will go from 10 pm to noon the next day. Sasha has made great innovations with progressive house music, both alongside John Digweed and solo. He has remixed for artists including Seal, Thom Yorke, Madonna, Depeche Mode, BT, and The Chemical Brothers. Performing prior to Sasha is Three, a long time friend of Sasha’s and an underground artist since the early 90s. Kicking off the night will be Steven Letigre and Taimur&Fahad.
