As you can see Gradient Magazine didn’t have enough of Electric Zoo Festival, we want to bring you the most extensive coverage of what you missed out on. For those of you that don’t know, Ben Watt is the label head behind Buzz In Fly records. Based out of London, UK the British DJ was very excited to play his first festival in New York City. To celebrate this great occasion Sirius radio recorded Watt’s set from Day 1 of Electric Zoo Festival. To download this set click here.

We are currently over here at New York City’s Labor Day electronic music festival “Electric Zoo”, the sun is out and Randall’s Island is packed from front to back. Some of the acts that have played thus far include Paco Osuna, who played a very minimal set and had the “Sunday School Hilltop” tent jumping up and down. Following Paco’s set was Plus8 label mate Marco Carola who played a great collection of music that included some tech house & minimal techno tracks. As of 5:00 pm, DJ’s Ben Watt and Francois K are playing at each of their respective stages. We love Space Ibiza Week 3 June 28 2009, has a mixed line up that will feature DJ’s Ben Watt Marcel Dettmann, Miss Kittin and The Hacker live set and much more. Space Ibiza is known for their twenty four hour party’s and non stop bass pumping music. Since the new sound law was placed by local Island officials, the party’s go from 4pm to 6am.
