Clandestine Artists, an international booking agency based in New York and Berlin, has announced the lineup for its first ever showcase at the Miami Winter Music Conference 2010. The party will feature an impressive array of minimal and tech-house DJs, plus a few live acts to boot. Opening sets by Renato Ratier D-Edge’s DJ & Mastermind along with Emerson Todd an artist that has now built up a reputation that has projected him onto the international circuit.

New York City promoters Sheik ‘N’ Beik in conjunction with AM Only present Minus’ own Barem. The South American native has been a perfect fit for the Berlin based label over the past few years. His style and aspirations have been well perceived by party goer’s all over the world. On March 13th, Barem will be joined by Sheik ‘N’ Beik’s own Julio and Varick at a Secret Location. Earworm by djdownload.com recently interviewed underground producer Mauricio Barembuem aka Barem. They call him the perfect personification of the new breed of electronic music – he has grown up during the digital age and embraced it fully, using software programs like Reason and Ableton. The Argentinian born DJ met Richie Hawtin back in 2005 in Buenos Aires and began a relationship with Minus. In 2007 he released his debut EP Never Better Than Late on the label. Blkmarket Membership in conjunction with New York City’s Love nightclub presented, Minus DJ’s Richie Hawtin, Ambivalent and Barem. Friday, June 27th Hawtin served up a solo extended set and played 4-hours straight. Headlining the night, Hawtin combined many different elements of electronic music by blending minimal with hard bass thumping European techno. Hawtin played some new tracks that we followed using Hawtin’s Twitter DJ Application, which automatically posted the current track being projected through the speakers.

On June 26th and 27th, one of the major faces behind minimal techno will be serving his second and third leg of his US tour in NYC. Blkmarket Membership & Love present Richie Hawtin who scheduled to play an extended set at Love on June 26th and on June 27th Hawtin will be joined by m_nus Dj’s Ambivalent and Barem.
