Walrus TV just posted this great artist feature on graffiti artist Above. The interview follows his work all over the world – from Canada to Seattle to Paris. He mostly talks about his childhood and why he chose his signature arrow. It allows him to experiment with all different materials that lettering is limited to, and you can watching him making his wooden arrows that he stencils on and sprays over and over to create a whole set for each city. He says the arrow “transcends the language barrier” and can connect with viewers despite any age, gender, or race differences. It’s a great 8 minute insight into his psyche and his spirit.

Funny I came across this footage and that his thing was arrows. I was just recently thinking about getting an arrow on my next pointing up towards my head.
