Despite the amazing innovations in medical technology, the design aspect of hospitals has until now, been seriously lacking. Circle, Europe’s largest partnership of healthcare professionals, has set out to change that along with architects Foster + Partners. CircleBath is the first result of their overhaul – a modern looking hospital that erases the glare and gloom of the average healthcare interior. CircleBath is a drastic departure from the ordinary plan of a hospital, and also includes beautiful lighting and a minimal but impacting exterior. More images after the jump.
