Richard West, better known to the world as Mr. C has made his return and is now on the warpath. Teaming up with Brooklyn minimalist savant Adultnapper, the two have come together to form Sycophant Slags and are now celebrating a video release for their latest single, “Keep Off,” directed by NY’s own Ariel Danziger. And if a music video wasn’t enough, 2 off the chain remixes have been commissioned by Reboot and The Wighnomy Brothers.

For Mr. C this is the first of what is hopefully many forays into full vocals. Not since his days with iconic Scottish group <b>The Shamen</b> has an audience heard C dominant a track so hard. “Keep Off” demands a special place in the heart of every New Yorker as it utilizes the chorus from late great Notorious BIG’s famous “Sky’s the Limit.” David Guetta is hardly the first EDM artist to combine elements of rap with electronic. Mr. C has been doing it for 20 years.
